Interview with Ibadan based talented singer Mr Darps

In an Exclusive Interview with Upcoming singer Muritala Oladapo known as MR DARPS. Here he gave us a hint about himself and what transpired the beginning of his music career.
Mr Darps is an afro hip-hop artist that has drop five different single which have been marking ways in the city of Ibadan and they are the likes of “Me & U”, which was produce by BigWig. And he has also droped “Supernatural” which was produce by Sean-Beaker, he also dropped "Afruginaya"  and lastly "Dream Love” was produced by Big Wig.  He was also featured by ST Black   in a single titled"Familowosoke"

As soon as I heard “Me & U”  and "Familowosoke" , which is one of the song of his career, I knew I had to ask to do an exclusive interview with this upcoming artist.

Mr Darps: My name is Muritala Oladapo Olaoluwa Saheed

Josh Kolade: Where do you hail from

Mr Darps: I am from Ogun State, Nigeria and currently in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Josh Kolade: What is your education level?

Mr Darps: I am a HND holder in accounting

Josh Kolade: How did you come by the Name Mr Darps

Mr Darps: I got it from my name Oladapo

Josh Kolade: What’s your Style of Music

Mr Darps: I’m a singer

Josh Kolade: Thats Great

JoshKolade: Who influenced you to become an aspiring singer? And why?

Mr Darps: The person that aspire me is a friend called IBAGAZA.

JoshKolade: Ibagaza? Don't think he is a very popular artiste? 

Mr Darps: He is not a very popular artiste and he now an accountant.

JoshKolade: So how does he aspire you?

Mr Darps: He was called to perform on stage in my school when i was doing my ND, and he didn't want to perform alone on stage so he called me to join him while he perform on stage. I was his backup for that day. So when i got home I thought about music and start writing my own songs

Josh Kolade: How Many Singles have you released?

Mr Darps: 2 for now

Josh Kolade: Can you list them for your fans?

Mr Darps: Yea, they are “Me & U” and "Familowosoke".

Josh Kolade: That’s good to hear

Josh Kolade: Are you currently signed to any Record Label?

Mr Darps: Record Label? NO! 

Josh Kolade: Do you plan on signing for any if offers come knocking?

Mr Darps: Sure, based on agreement.

Josh Kolade: So do you plan featuring any Star artist? If yes , who?

Mr Darps: Yea, artist like Oritshe-femi, Wizkid, D-banj, olamide and so on

Josh Kolade: hmm! Ok

Josh Kolade: So when are you dropping your first album

Mr Darps: soon!

Josh Kolade: It’s nice speaking to you, thanks for the opportunity, before we call it a day. Everyone would like to know if you are to date a Nigerian celebrity who would that be?

Mr Darps: Eva. I have a huge crush on her
